let me be the first to say I don’t subscribe to the clean girl aesthetic, I love animal prints & lots of color — and I even sleep in my makeup sometimes (idc)
BUT honestly I love the feeling/idea of having a constant signature nail look, I don’t love spending hours in the nail salon & if I didn’t love my nail girl I would have been on the at-home gel sets in a heartbeat! There’s just something so nice about a non conflicting non offensive set of nails that just brings me joy in ways I can’t even explain — it really is the little things.
In contrast I am not a hater, there are ways to rock trendy nails but I think for me personally I’m good…for now at least
